ACADEMICS
I) Group and self-learning -
an effective means towardspreparing students for free exchange of ideas among the groupmembers through discussions and presentations not onlyleverages on time and effort but also enhances teaching andcommunication skills besides imbibing the virtue of self-study.
ii) Tutorial Problem solving exercises -
Most theoreticalcourses need interactive discussion in small tutorial groups.These groups are given opportunities to solve problems, designexercises and search information for further processing.Attitude is to develop for self study and use of web resources anddata banks to foster lifelong learning.
iii) Evaluation Procedures -
Multiple inputs are obtained forevaluation of students’ performance through sessionassignment, quiz, weekly test and a holistic view is taken of allthese inputs for giving the final report.
Student's merit and performance is assessed through a system of continuous evolution system through blind assessment ineach term. Students are marked according to aggregate percentage.
FACULTY
The students are guided by highly experienced and qualified faculty members, who are compassionate enough to ensure that they understand the need of an individual child just as their parents do at home. The teaching methodology concentrates first on the students’ aptitude then on the skill and knowledge he/she needs to acquire. Each subject has a separate department consisting of a head of the department with adequate number of qualified and experienced teachers.
The performance of the faculty members are graded periodically through self evaluation and a process by the academic Council for the respective year.
While our academic results speak for themselves the overall quality of the teaching staff has been further enhanced by the numerous and well designed teacher training workshops. Association of experts educationists and reputed professors has enlightened the teaching learning process.
Several in house training, workshops are organised for Teachers for upgradation of teaching skills and for staying abreast of the latest pedagogy.
